The Black Anti-Defamation United League, Inc.,(B.A.D.U.L) was founded by Daren Muhammad and Leticia A. Fitts on May 16, 2009 in Baltimore City. We were officially incorporated on June 26, 2009. Our Mission is to "to protect against the defamation and discrimination of Black people, to educate, empower, and protect the political, economic, social,  civil, and  human rights of those of African descent". 

Our Current Action Items: 

 (1)To educate and empower those of African descent to establish self-reliance and unification through teach-ins, education forums, lectures, and media.


 (2)  To hold our elected officials accountable in representing the needs of our community and upholding our rights .

 (3)To investigate and fight against the violation of citizen’s rights.

 (4) To establish and maintain consistent citizen representation at meetings and hearings held by our government.

 (5) To prepare for the upcoming election session by starting a voter’s registration and education drive.

 (6) To expand our avenues of media by extending our current radio programming and newsletter publications and developing a Video Investigative Team.
